Wahoo Fish Taco in Encinitas

Fish tacos taste really good but all 4 fell apart in our hands because the double tortillas are small, weak, not well-made and overstuffed. The beans and rice were good and all of the food was hot. The tortillas just need to be more sturdy. We both found the tacos made with citrus slaw to be a little dry. The service was very good and prices were at the $$ level out of $$$$$.

Was disappointed in the fish tacos, too much cabbage and no sauce. ordered $40 of tacos too be dissatisfied! They dont care about the food they serve. Nothing like getting a Togo order get home and find 8 tacos with tons of cabbage no sauce

Delicious salmon plate with brown rice or white! An best coleslaw I've ever had! So so good! The cajun fries are the best! This place is my favorite!

I don't understand the good ratings here. I was the only one standing there waiting to place an order, whatever, it happens. But the burrito I got tasted worse than average, undercooked chicken and rice. The 2 salsas I tried were disappointing as well. It was my first time here and maybe came on a bad day. I wish I had a bagel next door instead.

I absolutely loved their dishes and customer service, great location right next to my home. The employees are always helpful. Would recommend to others.

A must when in town. Excellent food!

Eh not really worth visiting anymore, ended up paying something like $20 for three tacos with a drink on taco Tuesday so definitely up there in price. The actual tacos were mostly lettuce or cabbage or something and weren’t very good. This place used to be a staple but appears to have fallen off in quality in recent years.
